The annual Northern Michigan Master Gardeners Association plant sale is scheduled for June 17. We are fortunate to be able to host the sale at the Emmet County Fairground again. The barn, grounds, restrooms, and parking space with drive up access to pick up purchases are perfect for a plant sale. On Thursday the activity starts with setting up the area and receiving plants. Friday is busy with lots more plants coming into the barn and getting organized into categories. Nonprofit organizations will be invited to join this community event, and other activities are being planned. Details to follow from the Plant Sale Committee.
