The Aromatherapy of Trees

Antrim Conservation District is hosting a fun time in the woods and in the classroom! Be prepared to take a short hike on the Cedar River trail and learn about some of the trees that we’ll be learning about in class. You will also learn:

  • Cell structure

  • Tree characteristics

  • Chemical constituents

  • How essential oils are made

  • The science of scent and how your nose works

  • How to use and not use oils

And we’ll just have fun learning together. Everyone will get to take a sample of oil to take home too!
